Dr. C. K. Purohit,  was the first receipient of the NINAD Oration. He has donated Rs 11,000 in the year 1998 to the IAPSM-GC. It was deliberated and decided that the amound donated  should be used for recognizing the young talent of IAPSM-GC by conferring a award to the best original researc articles published in the journals for the given year.
